STARTING AND CLOSING PROGRAMS



STARTING AND CLOSING PROGRAMS

Most of the programs installed on your computer are available from one conversion location – the Programs section of the Start menu. Depending on how your computer is set up, what you see on the start menu, varies.

TO START A PROGRAM (MS PAINT LOCATED ON ACCESSORIES GROUP)

     1.       Click the Start button and then point to All Programs as shown in fig. 1 and fig. 2

In the same pane, a list of programs will appear. Scroll up/down to point to the group ( such as Accessories here) that contains the program you want to start and then click the program name i.e. on MS paint in our case as shown in fig.3

TO QUIT AN OPEN PROGRAM

    1.       Just click the close button in the upper-right corner of the program window as shown in  fig.4

      2.       Alternatively, you can also click upon exit option available on the leftmost tab menu of the application or you can also press the shortcut key Alt+F4.

WINDOW CONTROL BUTTON

You can work with open windows in window 7 by clicking one of the window control buttons located on the far right of the title bar. The window control button are listed in table as in fig.6
